{"id":2195,"date":"2008-01-16T20:03:42","date_gmt":"2008-01-16T16:03:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/geoeconomics.ge\/en\/?p=2195"},"modified":"2013-03-16T20:04:24","modified_gmt":"2013-03-16T16:04:24","slug":"georgias-international-liabilities-in-the-sphere-of-anti-monopoly-regulation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/geoeconomics.ge\/en\/?p=2195","title":{"rendered":"Georgia\u2019s International Liabilities in the sphere of Anti-monopoly regulation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Slava Fetelava, PhD &#8211; Grigol Robakidze University; Lector &#8211; Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Economics and Business; Assistant-professor \u2013 Paata Gugushvili University <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The article deals with Georgia\u2019s liabilities based on Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and Georgia, on the other part concluded on April, 22 1996 in Luxembourg. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>      On the basis of the given agreement Georgia took a liability to harmonize country\u2019s legislation with the legislation of European Communities that on the other hand expressed the readiness to provide technical support.<br \/>\n      As it is mentioned in the work, the part of agreement concerning the competition sphere follows from articles 81 and 82 (old edition articles 85 and 86) the constituent agreement of European Community (Roman contract).<br \/>\n      The article also deals with directives concerning improving legislation on customer\u2019s property protection and advertising activities.<br \/>\n      Proceeding from the above mentioned a conclusion is made that Georgia should draw legislation on competition, advertising and customer\u2019s property rights near to the European Communities\u2019 legislation as part of the taken obligations.
