JEMAL INAISHVILI
FROM THE REDACTION
JEMAL INAISHVILI – We have come to an agreement that a business delegation will visit Georgia at the end of the next year. Its members will also visit Armenia and Azerbaijan where they will have concrete talks on concrete projects.
According to its potential, Asian region is one of the largest financial and industrial regions. Of course, the Georgian economy needs much of what is produced in the Asian region. At the same time we can look for new markets for exporting our produce, and our close cooperation with CACCI and the countries of the region will, of course, give us such an opportunity. After these two days of meetings, the Georgian Chamber of Commerce made a decision to open its representative office in Singapore. There is no doubt that it will contribute to better representation of our companies and potential in the region.
This is a very good beginning, this is the first precedent of holding such a forum in Georgia, and I think that the results will be on hand soon.
