Some Aspects of Management and Financing of Public Broadcasting
Resume
Irma Jalaghonia
Today television industry is the most prof-
itable media sector. Only television can
provide advertisers with permanent and the largest audience. In the process of communications’ development all organizational models of television management – commercial, public or state ones – always took into account this economic peculiarity of the television industry. Advertisement is the main source of television’s financing, though there are other alternative sources of financing. State televisions (former socialist countries, China) are mainly financed from the state budget, while commercial channels – by incomes received from advertisement and other commercial activities. There are several models of financing of public broadcasting (Western Europe – Great Britain, France, Germany, Italia, Holland; Northern Europe – Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Sweden; also Japan, India, Australia, Canada): subscription fee, state subsidies, sponsorship, barter, selling of extra services. In spite of constant criticism, in almost all countries public broadcasting still retains political relevance and cultural importance for the society, politicians and individual viewers.
In the article the matter concerns the importance of public broadcasting, its history and financing sources.
Do we have Exchange Commodities in Georgia
Resume
Erekle Ugrelidze
In exchange commodity greatly differs form the gen-
eral explanation of commodity. If, according to the
general idea and from the consumer point of view, a commodity is first of all a real product having certain properties and value, from the viewpoint of exchange trade a commodity is considered as rights and liabilities of the buyer and the seller having a legal status of a contract. Correspondingly, at a modern commodity exchange a purchase and sale item is not a real commodity, but the rights and liabilities related to it, i.e. commodity contracts.
From our point of view, not only a legal provision is necessary for a timely enabling of a commodity exchange in Georgia but also provision of a parallel functioning of spot and on term bargain markets, which should become the basis of the necessary liquidity level of a commodity exchange. Thus, making and perfection of commodity contracts is one of the main directions.
The second important direction is determination in Georgia of commodity groups of promising exchange commodities, and maximal taking into account of all aforementioned legislative, organizational and technical arrangements of these commodity groups.

Resume
Rezo Robakidze
The paper deals with the actual issues of regional-
economic monitoring which are carried out by the
Central Banks of Poland and other countries. The monitoring conducted by us is the result of the project corresponding to the Polish National Bank. It was rather interesting to inspect economic situation and business environment inside the region with the eye of business sector and I think this project is an advanced step on the way of forming the new social image of the National Bank. Such kind of activities conducted with the branch of the National Bank was quite interesting for the participants of the monitoring.
In our opinion it will be possible to have the complete and objective image of the economic situation on the regional level by carrying out the project in future in the balance year. It gives us possibility to do dynamic appropriate analysis in the credit organizations and the financial-economic institutions of the country.
