About the activation of through rates mechanisms with the view to increasing TRACECA corridor competitiveness (ABSTRACT)

The article offers additional measures for growing transportation with the view to increasing competitiveness of TRACECA corridor.

Increasing efficiency of tariff policy co-ordination in TRACECA member-countries as well as activation of through rates in the corridor is viewed as a positive factor.
On the basis of transportation tariff comparison of alternative transport corridors, the principle of equal tariff benefits is offered by each member-country.
It was concluded that establishment of through rates in the corridor should be based on single methodology of cost estimation in all countries.
